WHO AM I?

Call me eclectic! I have an assortment of talents and gifts that I enjoy. My creativity is always introducing a new idea. The problem has always been knowing which one to unleash and follow through with. That is why I love empowering people to live with purpose. It has been the very thing that has helped me define a sense of direction. Not that I think there is anything wrong with a creative mind but knowing where to direct it is a blessing.

I love what I do and I'm thankful for the opportunities of ministry to empower women to embrace life with purpose and passion. I love nothing more than to see someone capture a vision for their life and see them come alive with a clear direction to fulfill their calling. I also love teaching God's Truth whether it is one-on-one, a small group, or to a large crowd. I just get excited about how God actively uses His Truth to set us free and give us personal insight for living. His WORD is fresh and new every day through the power of the Holy Spirit. It truly is God breathed!

I have a wonderful marriage and we are blessed with two incredible adult kids. I've always wanted to be married and have a family and I did! Raising my kids was the most exciting and challenging journey. I truly miss the joy of having them in my home, seeing their faces everyday and hearing what is on their heart. All though, I am having a lots of fun watching them make their way living as thriving adults and experiencing the life God created them to live.

I have the most amazing husband. It took a lot of training….HA!  Perhaps I should re-word that. It took a lot of give and take, commitment, and prayer but we have had the privilege and blessing of being married to each other for thirty years. My prayer and hope is that we have another thirty years of togetherness in our future. I couldn't imagine being married to anyone but him. He spoils me and I LOVE IT!!!

I have two other passions and that is walking (trying to run) and decorating. There is something about getting outside and stretching my legs. It physically energizes me! When I get going I feel myself come into a state of surrender; for some reason It helps me to release my worries and concerns to God. It also gives me clarity and helps my creative juices to start flowing. There are times when I've actually had to stop in the middle of a walk and write a blog post or idea on my iphone.

Decorating is my other career choice. I love creating and recreating a space. My greatest joy is coming up with ways to re use something I already have. I also love a good find. My house is full of those special creative finds and most of them have a story behind them. I guess that's what makes decorating even more fun is the story of how it was found or created. Just for fun, you might get to see some of them posted on my blog.

Although, there is no greater story than the story of Christ and how He humbled himself, died on the cross, and rose from the dead so we (everyone) could have eternal life. God love us so much that He wanted to reunite us with Him, This took the price of His one and only Son JESUS CHRIST. Because of the blood Jesus shed on the cross we have forgiveness for our sins and have fellowship again with God…our Heavenly Father…our creator. There is no greater love story than His love for us. What makes it even more amazing is that it's still being lived throughout the lives of His Children.

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

I was blessed to be grounded in my Christian faith with strong family roots. My desire has always been to love Jesus with all my heart, soul, and mind, and to serve Him fully. My hope is to continue to grow in my faith and become better at serving you. I am learning every day what it means to walk in obedience and faithfully apply what I learn daily. I enjoy learning and sharing what God is teaching me. I also love encouraging others to embrace the life God has especially designed for them. My desire is to help you become a better you and in the process I hope to become a better me.

Thank you for letting me share my life with you and inviting me into your private space. I hope to never take it for granted and to always prayerfully enrich your life with God's truth.

I hope you EMBRACE the life God created you to live and LIVE IT abundantly!!!
